Girls' softball is for girls ages 7-12 as of April 30, 2008. The fee is $60 per child. Softball is divided into two divisions, 7-9 and 10-12. The season will last until mid-June, with the All-Star Team continuing play further. Teams generally play one or two games a week. Gamedays are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and some Saturdays. Scheduling of games will take YAKS soccer games into consideration. Your child's coach will determine the number of practices as well as the dates and times of practice. Each child will be provided a full uniform, including cap, jersey, shorts, and socks. Individual participation trophies will be awarded at season's end.
